About
Hi — I am a front-end developer who carries a camera everywhere. This site is a quiet place to keep photographs and short notes, mostly from Los Angeles and the occasional weekend inland.
I shoot for the walk as much as for the frame. Most of what ends up here was made on weeknights after work or on foggy Saturday mornings when the beach is empty. I like soft midtones, a little grain, and captions that stay short.
There is no newsletter and no comments section. If a picture is here, it meant something that week.
Gear
- Fujifilm X100V — everyday digital, 23mm
- Canon AE-1 — 50mm f/1.8, weekend film
- Kodak Portra 400 / Fuji Superia — whatever is on sale
- Cheap ND8 filter — for fog and pier long exposures
- Small carbon tripod — lives in the trunk
How this site works
Plain HTML and CSS. Images are resized once and served locally. No trackers, no analytics, no frameworks — just pages that load on a slow connection.
Colophon
Type is system Georgia. Background is a warm off-white. Updated when I have something worth posting, not on a schedule.
Some reference frames sourced via Unsplash while building out older albums; personal rolls replace them over time.
